I am a sucker for hand-painted/illustrative 3D. Good texturing can easily make low-poly assets feel more detailed than they really are. Fantastic job!

I also tend towards simplifying character designs over time. Helps to sort-of "synthesize" their most prominent attributes.
What exactly IS Yoyo anyway?
I can tell you I based her design on dogs, but as for what she is exactly, uhh

Nice touch with the hatched shading! As mediocre as the Riders games were, they had a lot of personality. I wish Sonic was still this expressive in the rest of the series, his design really lends itself well to it.
Daxter's got a very Ren Höek vibe going on, which isn't that far off when I think about it.
Very cool! You've managed to capture the classic aesthetic while it still being recognizably your style.

Those are some pearly-white gnashers for someone who eats as much as he does.
Really goes to show how great a design Rayman is. Different little changes over the years, but it's always recognizably him with none of his appeal lost.
